Connecticut

We ended our short visit to Connecticut with a trip to Stratton Brook State Park to hike a beautiful accessible trail.
Laurel made new friends with fishing poles while Kellisa received a tube feeding:
A fishing pole made it to the top of her birthday wish list. She received her own pole one week later for her 5th birthday.
The girls made a new friend who was actually walking a dog responsibly.
Dad, "can I get my toes wet"?
"Yes"

Since we had a flight to catch in a couple of hours, I had to stop her when the water line was approaching her waist:
