Sasquatch Provincial Park

British Columbia
Canada

October 2013

In addition to people (always my biggest worry in the forest), bears (black and grizzly) and mountain lions, we had to worry about crossing paths with bigfoot on this early autumn morning.

Sasquatch Provincial Park, named after the legendary mammal that is frequently seen in the area, is a large wilderness area just north of Harrison Hot Springs. Recreational opportunities in the park are endless, but we only had time for one trail and chose a nice loop around a beaver pond. Kellisa really enjoyed the trail and park. This is a place where we need to get back sometime and spend a few days exploring.
