Harrison Hot Springs
British Columbia, Canada
October 2013
After presenting "Kellisa's Path" to the Seattle Hydrocephalus Association, we had a few days before we had to head home. Our original plan was to hike in Washington's National Parks, but the government shutdown forced us to change our plans. We didn't let the government ruin our trip to the Pacific Northwest. We found the amazing Harrison Hot Springs & Resort online and headed north into British Columbia.

I thought the hot springs would be good for Kellisa's tightness from her cerebral palsy. Kellisa did loosen up quite a bit. The setting was magical. The water was 83F while the air temperature was in the 40's creating a constant fog over the pool. The nighttime sky was clear and full of stars. It was heaven on earth!
